Home About Aristotelis Our Teachers Paraskevi Triantafyllopoulou

Paraskevi Triantafyllopoulou

Paraskevi’s academic background is in the Humanities and Social Sciences with an emphasis on Ancient Greek, History, Religion and Social Anthropology.

She holds a BA(Hon) from  the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MPhil from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens. She has also studied in England.

During the last ten years Paraskevi has been involved in a variety of positions with regards to teaching Ancient and Modern Greek to students of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Thanks to her experience as an educator she has come to realise even more the impact that the Hellenic language can have on the acquisition of European languages in general, and English in particular.

She holds dear whatever pertains to the Hellenic language and culture, and therefore regards her being part of the Aristotelis team as a great opportunity to promote the values of Hellenism within the Greek Australian community and enrich the students’ identity.
